Stewartby on Saturday

Many thanks to Stewartby for setting up a very enjoyable event - even with the light winds I had a great day, and for once made a couple of setup changes that seemed to help me move up the fleet rather than down. Only sorry not to have seen more of the QM fleet now that we can finally get our boats ...

Gentlemen (?!), Many thanks for the range of advice posted here with regard to a new drysuit - A Gul Force is on its way (something about preferring rear entry apparently....). Should be delivered tomorrow and tested for size in my living room tomorrow evening - neighbours have been advised to ignor...

Drysuit advice

Before I embarass myself further with a wetsuit that's about to split in various inapropriate areas, can anyone help with some drysuit advice?

I've never owned or used a drysuit before so not really sure where to start and what to look out for.

Help ! !

Purchased from Colin Price in May of 2007. I understand it had raced at North Devon SC in Colin's hands, along with traveller events and Nationals over a period of some years. Not an unsuccesful boat in his hands but yet to reach the same heights in mine! Previously named 'Price of Pleasure' (subjec...

Carsington - EPO Approval received

Undoubtedly due to her extended holiday, the Entertainments Prevention Officer has indeed approved a trip to Carsington for the next TT. I'll be camping somewhere, but notice there's more than one possible option - has anyone else got thier approval yet, and if so where will you all be staying?! Bil...

Hey George, Don't forget that training session at QM once your heart's run in - I promise to go easy on you if it's blowing, and this time to keep my dummy firmly between my teeth if it's light and flukey! Perhaps on his current form Stewart can assist - you're only ever remembered for your last res...

Hi guys,

No joy here I'm afraid, I'm coverless both before and after Saundersfoot. Gordon's does look quite nice though.....!

Hope it turns up somewhere for you, and soon.

Alex.

Cheers Gordon! Sounds like there should be a team briefing at the nationals at which many half cooked burgers and cold beers should be consumed. I popped up to QM yesterday evening to take my boat off the trailer after Seasalter as I'd like to try a few things on Saturday - the sight was fantastic, ...

There were indeed a couple of sheep roaming around the boatpark / campsite in the early hours of Saturday morning - thankfully the missus brought my wellington boots for the weekend...... got to get the practice in for the Nationals!

Thank You Seasalter

A superb weekend, Thanks to everyone at seasalter and the Sprint 15 Association for the venue and organisation  Fantastic sailing conditions on Saturday, and a lovely spread on Saturday night  Sunburn to take back to work, a daughter that won't stop talking about how the tent leaked on mu...

Hi George,

I'd seen the video clip that Carl posted the link for which was entertaining, just wasn't sure if anyone had any other pictures to post.

I'll have to make sure the missus makes herself a little more useful next time!!

Thanks Bob, I had a quick chat with Gordon at QMSC this morning before going out for a fun blast around the place. I had noticed the requirements for the ECP race - flares, compass, 10m tow line etc etc. and although I can lay my hands on these I think that Seasalter is going to benefit my pursuit o...

Does anyone have any pics form Gurnard?

Pure vanity of course but it would be quite fun to see if anyone actually caught me upside down right in front of the cafe!
