After much chat and tea drinking the decision was made to postpone the racing untill 12:00. The wind was ...

Re: Draycote Winter TT Sat. 5th Jan.

Hi George,
Even when the lake is full there is still plenty of space for boats and trailers on the grass beyond the windsurf area.
Cheers

Re: Draycote Water Sailing Club Interfleet Championship - Ya

Hi Bob just noticed your post after checking details for the nationals. The 'Interfleet Championship' is an annual event where each fleet at the club submits a team of approximately six helms and they have a series of short races in identical boats - this year I think it was Laser Picos, Fireflys an...

Karl is right.
The class association guidlines state that 'Ties are to be decided by the lowest sum of the competitors corrected times'

Re: Draycote Water TT Saturday 7th Jan.

Gary,
The gates for the site are on a timer and are controlled by Severn Trent.
They open at 7:30 am and close at 5:00 pm.
So long as you enter before 5:00 pm exit is still possible after 5:00 pm as there is a detector on the sailing club side of the gate.
Cheers
Pete.

Re: Draycote Water TT Saturday 7th Jan.

George,
As per last year there will be someone near to the gate who will direct you to the hosing down area.
Someone will 'deshrimp' your boat there.
Look forward to seeing you.

Re: Grafham Icicle and Winter TT Final

Thanks to everyone who helped organise the winter series - It was great fun as always and race weekends are always a beacon during the cold winter months.
I particularly enjoyed reading the Grafham write up and it was so helpful of Bob to point out my mistakes!
