Re: Sail

Hi Simon

are you talking about the slug attached to the foot of the sail through the eyelet (downhaul)?

i attached one to mine with a jubilee clip. i can send a photo if this is the area you are talking about. Suggitt sails in Reddich helped me.

Regards, Phil.

Re: Instow 2012

Fantastic weekend. The weather was perfect and the sailing brilliant.

Does anyone have the contact details of the gentleman selling the photo's, or an idea of how i can get a copy of the 700 pics?

Thanks.

George, a classic moment that makes us laugh everytime we see it! 'Fly By Wire?' - despite being traumatized by this lesson, i have managed to venture out onto the wire thanks to the tips that you and Ray went on to explain in great detail. Re: Carsington Winter TT

Ref The Inter Club Challenge I heard (possibly just hear-say) that a clause update had been put inplace regarding the 3.1 MAST section (pun) of the rules. Sub clause BENT (Brazen Exploitation of Non-existant Technicalities) had been included as an antidote to anyone trying to use MAST inappropriatel...

The original clip mechanism has long gone so i just tie it to the furling drum. As soon as I sheet in and its blowing a little it goes a bit baggy between the hanks on ...

Re: DX 15 at Stewartby

From someone relatively new to the class who has a perspective from the very back of the fleet, i feel the DX has a place within the class. I am not aware of much of the fleets' history, but casually looking at the footnote to all the events posted on this website, i believe i would be welcomed if i...
