Re: Battens

Andy
Next time you are at the club, we can compare two sails side by side, I also have a new top batten I haven't used yet, so we can also check against a new one for length, flex etc.

I have found a Dart...

We have seen interest increase in Sprint 15 at Stewartby in the last year, some new cat sailors me included [almost all in relatively old boats!]. Very hopeful of at least five home boats there this year. 8)
I shall definately be there soaking up all I can learn from you! :D

Beam Reach

Still getting to grips with my sprint, and loving every second of it, particularly the windy days :D Although I have a host of problems, the one bugging me the most is a dead beam reach in light winds, I just can't seem to get it to go at all, lose loads to any other sprint along those legs. A bit b...

1431 - Introduction

Got my login so now I can introduce myself. :D Admission time- I bought a Dart 16, .......... there I've said it, but I'm alright now! My plan was to sail with a family crew most windy weekends, and occasionally solo, but the kids ages and the lure of weekend pay stopped them coming, and I found I w...
