Hi Robert
I am going and have booked a mobile home from 30th April to 7th May, if you or anyone else wish to share please pm me.

I will be interested in sailing around the Golfe of Morbihan, done it on a pleasure boat but never sailed.

"YaHoo!" as per normal only quite slowly and loudly, with hand signs and waving a baguette.

With the Sprint Sport Nationals or whatever they're called now in early June - would it be an idea for us all to agree that Carnac is a Sport format event??

I could do with the practice pre Instow and we may get more from the event if we're 'on the wire'.

Thoughts folks..

hello,
i'm member of french afidart wich deals mainly with Dart 18. But I saw your project and I will try to help you to be numerous in carnac.
I've also raced several eurocat and involved in the organisation team of last dart world championship last july.

I'm already trying to contact french D15 owners throug afidart web site but there is no real "class live" in france for this boat.
http://www.afidart.eu/index.php?option= ... Itemid=135
(need to be register on forum to read it but I will add an article on website next week)

You've already the good contacts in Carnac with leonie and francois pedro.
last years there where just a few C4 racing (4 last year) on same race area than C1 (daggerboard) and C3 (SL16/SL 15/D18/HC16) but on shorter race. mainly HC14, mystere Tyka, and twincat.

Finally last year, for world championship we succeed getting 20% discount with britany ferries, so you certainly can have same kind of deal, it's early season.

Hi
Thank you for making contact, I have been discussing with Brian Phipps how we can engage Sprint 15 sailors in France, we are aware that there is not a big fleet but with a bit of enthusiasm we are sure there could be some interest, we also believe there are some expats with Sprint 15’s in France.

If you could send me an email, my address if on the contacts page, and I will send you the information we have, we are also looking to put an article in our national magazine so I could send you a copy.

How do we go about negotiating with Brittany Ferries as we have not had a lot of luck form this side of the water?

Any help you could give would be more then welcome as this is the first time we have ventured as a fleet abroad.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks
Paul Craft

Oooooh - I've just noticed on Paul's link the "Dart Sprint 15 GTI" with "equipage" of 2!

AND - a more favourable handicap than the unarig!

Watch out guys!
