A major overhaul of the events pages for 2007 has now been installed to the website. The new system is driven by a bespoke content management system written by Martin Searle. The system publishes pages directly from a database as opposed to hand coding of each one indvidually for reports and information thus saving lots of my time!, also the next event box on this page updates automatically too the next event and finally the system can work out provisional results for the current series from the indvidual TT event results automatically so the series results are always up-to-date. The system includes full tie breaking for the results so everyone gets a unique place also competitors meeting the series qualification criteria a clearly highlighted. |
