The Dart 15 winter traveller series was concluded at Grafham on Sunday 1 April. This was the first time the series has comprised of 5 events (Queen Mary was the new addition) and all 5 events were sailed, even though the Grafham finale was 3 weeks late due to the foot & mouth epidemic. The attendances were better than previous years and generally the fleet seemed to enjoy the proceedings. The events were at Stewartby, Beaver, Rutland, Queen Mary and Grafham. A total of 40 sailors took part and 11 qualified with 3 or more races attended.
The top places had a familiar ring with George Carter retaining the series with 1,1,1 from Paul Smith (2,4,3), Bob Carter (3,3,4), Chris Black (1,5,8) and Steve Sawford.
