Our Magazine Editor
Many of you will know that Paul Smith has had to retire from sailing and from being the editor of our magazine, NewSprint, for reasons of ill health. We in the Sprint 15 Association were anxious to express our appreciation to Paul for all that he has done for the Class and to make his retirement an enjoyable one. To that end we have made a contribution towards a keyboard/ electronic organ which is something he really wanted. Carol has bought the organ of Paul's choice and sends us a picture of Paul with his new toy. Additionally at the Nationals, Carol was presented with the Peter Mayne plague for Paul to hold for a period. This plaque is to signify services to the Sprint 15 fleet beyond the call of duty. We wish Paul a happy retirement and look forward to seeing him at any of our events.
At the AGM, George Love was appointed the new editor of the Sprint 15 Association Magazine and so George joins the Sprint 15 Association Committee. George hopes to publish a magazine in the coming month or so. We wish him every success in this new endeavour.
