Dear cat sailors,

The RYA is campaigning to undermine the role of catamarans in the Olympics. It has made two sumbmissions to ISAF for its meeting November 1st-11th where Olympic classes will be decided for the 2012 Olympics to be held in the UK.

If you believe that this policy is misguided, please sign the e-petition "Against the RYA's recent submissions to ISAF" at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/CatamaranSubmission?e and pass this email on to your catamaran contacts. Sailors both in this country and abroad need to know and make their feelings felt to the hosts of the 2012 games. The RYA Council meets on October 3rd, where its submissions will be on the agenda.
