Transat Jacques Vabre 2007 Hey Guys - look what Sprint 15 sailor and our Northern Champion (Tom Gall) is doing this November. He is Skippering this boat, Concise 49, in the Transat Jacques Vabre 2007 Race. That is Tom on the foredeck. The TJV is a classic two-handed ocean race in its 14th year. The fleet will depart Le Harve on 3 November and head south over the equator to finish in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil in early December. The course is testing and Tom and his team mate, Dan Gohl, will have to navigate the frustrating light airs of the Doldrums with skill and tenacity. With over thirty Class 40s the competition will be tough. There is a big fleet of Volvo 60s and many of the worlds top sailors are taking part. Watch Tom & Dan's progress Here |  |
