The Sprint 15 is on Stand B24 at Alexandra Palace Dinghy Show on Saturday and Sunday 1 / 2 March. In the 30th Anniversary year of the Class the Sprint 15 Association will be displaying one of the new South African built boats in the Out of Africa livery. Over the weekend the stand will be manned by a group which includes:
6 of the Sprint 15 Association Committee. Members from 9 Clubs (Queen Mary, Whitstable, Grafham, Carsington, Shanklin, Draycote, Seasalter, Marconi and Thorpe Bay) Ages of the sailors on the stand range from 12 to 60 plus representatives from all decades in between 2 Lady helms will take part.
The importer and parts supplier, Brian Phipps of Windsport, will be at the show and on hand if required.
How many other Catamaran classes can boast of such a show of strength and versatility? There is no doubt that we are the UKs biggest single handed Cat Class by a large margin and hope to keep it that way.
We will be handing out the latest literature and taking details (Names and EMail addresses) for those sailors who would like to sign up for a demonstration ride on a Sprint 15. Brian Phipps will be giving a Catamaran sailing talk each day in the Panorama Hall at 12. Noon.
So no matter if you just want to come for a chat, or to meet the sailors, or get some tips or to sign up for a demo on an Association members boat we hope to meet you over the coming weekend.
