Winter 2012-13 Series final report... Thus we lost 2 of our scheduled 5 events and with the best 3 results to count it meant that there were no discards.

As you are  aware we raised our fees for payment by Standing Order from £10 to £20 last year and whilst many are being received for the revised amount we received 50 plus incorrect payments in March.  In the last issue of Newsprint we reminded all Members of the increase in the Subs and the revised method by which they should be paid.  You will need details of our bank account and your unique SP number to do this and if you have lost them please contact me at the membership address in the contact details page

A total of 25 Sprint 15s took part in the Traveller event at Marconi SC – with a particularly noteworthy turnout of travellers given the dreadful weather conditions leading up to the event.

Sadly the Sprint 15 Icicle Event on Sunday 24 March at Grafham has been cancelled due to the poor weather forecast (snow and high winds across the country).

Sorry to say the doomsayers were proved right, with absolutely zero wind at Queen Mary today and no sailing.

The first event in the Sprint 15 Winter TT series is something of a highlight of the class racing calendar and following a record breaking turn-out in 2011, this year’s event was expected to be another ‘big-one’.

11 visitors from as far afield as the Isle of Wight joined 6 Draycote sailors to form a decent fleet of 17 boats for the annual Draycote Water Sprint 15 winter TT.

There is presently a problem with the photo archive and I will endeavour to fix this during the course of today. The issue with the photo archive has been fixed all back working.

Round Two of the hugely popular Sprint 15 Winter TT Circuit took place at Carsington S.C. in the heart of Derbyshire on Saturday, 1^st December 2012. Nine combatants from the furthest reaches of the Blightly joined three local souls to do battle under sunny northern skies in a quick-fire two back to back race card.

The Windsport Catparts Traveller Series for 2012 was concluded at Grafham on 20/21 October with our biggest attendance (33) of the summer. Once again the series proved very popular and attracted many helms who are new to travelling with their boats
